Well folks, it’s been a busy but productive two months since I received my NS6. Aside from working and playing some gigs on guitar, I’ve been thinking about doing an exclusive series on Mixcloud, mixing some of my favorite tunes together. What has come about is dubbed Gary’s Nightlife Series. Every week, I’ll be putting up new installments in the series of different tunes that anyone can groove to. Vol. 1 contains a good mix of some older tracks and recent ones as well. Set lists are posted on Mixcloud. Be sure to listen, enjoy it and share the good music with others! Well folks, it has finally arrived.
My pride and joy, the Numark NS6, is now in my possession. After two months of solid research and looking for my first full DJ controller rig/setup, I decided to go with the NS6. I know I’ve made a wise purchase as it’s a fine instrument with capabilities that exceed my expectations. From scratching and mixing to cueing and looping, the NS6 will be my weapon of choice for a while. I know it’ll take me some time to figure out every feature, but I’m willing to be the student and learn to master the artform of DJing. I’ll be working on a new mix when I find time to do so (been working everyday for a while). In the meantime, don’t forget to check out my mixes on MixCloud!
