Wait For Me (Original Song) – Gary Rodriguez

Here is my long-awaited debut as a songwriter! While I’ve written many songs in the past, this is my first one I’m sharing with the world. “Wait For Me” was written after what I’ve been going through the past few months. My feelings and thoughts are laid on the table for all to see and hear. This track will be recorded and released as part of my EP I’m recording this summer. I’ve finally had time to record a cover. Here is my very first one on my new YouTube channel – “Mother” by Pink Floyd. I’ve loved this song since I first heard it back in 2004. It has even more meaning to me these days. Interesting note: I just pushed record and did this all in one take. No edits, or restarts. I’m very happy with the overall product. New YouTube Channel and Tumblr Page

I decided to create a new YouTube channel that will reflect the music I will be putting out. It’s time I started focusing on the talent I’ve been given: playing the guitar. You’ll be watching me play more and listening to cover songs I enjoy as well as originals. I may even recite some of the poetry I’ve been writing recently. The text versions of those poems will be on my Tumblr page. I really want to get somewhere with my career. So it’s time to get serious. No more distractions or doing various projects. DJing will still be around, but I’m going to hold off on releasing any more material. I promise you that the YouTube videos will be exciting, entertaining and enjoyable.
